| This is NOT the topic to discuss penguin sledding. This IS the topic to post your Zelda songs.
The first: My adaption of "Love Story" by Taylor Swift. Set in OoT, Zelda narrating.
We were both young when I first saw you I close my eyes And the flashback starts I'm standing there In the courtyard without a Hyoi pear
See the flowers See the castle. the big gates See you make your way through my fate And say hello, little did I know
That you were Link, you were throwing Cucoos And my daddy said stay away from Zelda And I was crying on the staircase Begging you please don't go and I said
Link, go to the Sacred Realm, I'll be waiting, all there's left to do is go You'll be the hero and I'll be the princess It's a Zelda game, baby just say yes
So I sneak out to the garden to see you We keep quiet cause we're dead if they knew So close your eyes Escape Hyrule for a little while-ile
Cause you were Link, I was the seventh maiden And my daddy said stay away from Zelda But you were everything to me I was begging you please don't go and I said
Link, go to the Sacred Realm I'll be waiting, all there's left to do is go You'll be the hero and I'll be the princess It's a Zelda game, baby just say yes
Link, save me, they try to capture me This adventure is hard, but it's your only Don't be afraid, we'll make out of this mess It's a Zelda game, baby just say yes
Oh oh...
I got tired of waiting Wondering if you were ever coming to duel My faith in you was fading When I met you on the outskirts of Hyrule, and I said
Link, save me, I've been feeling so alone I keep waiting for you, but you never come Is this all over? Will we have to TRY AGAIN? He knelt to the ground and pulled out the Master Sword
And said, help me Zelda You'll never have to be alone We have the other Sages, and that's all I've really done I talked to your Sheikah form, go get your light arrows It's a Zelda game, baby just say yes.
Oh, oh Oh, oh Cause we were both young when I first saw you...

| Link's POV
I can show you the world Shining, shimmering, splendid Tell me, princess, now when did You last let your heart decide?
I can open your eyes Take you wonder by wonder Over, sideways and under On a mystic horseback ride
A whole new world A new fantastic point of view No one to tell us no Or where to go Or say we're only dreaming
A whole new world A dazzling place I never knew But when I'm riding here It's crystal clear That now I'm in a whole new world with you Now I'm in a whole new world with you
Unbelievable sights Indescribable feeling Soaring, tumbling, freewheeling It makes me feel like I can fly
A whole new world Don't you dare close your eyes A hundred thousand things to see Hold your breath - it gets better I'm like a shooting star I've come so far I can't go back to where I used to be
A whole new world Every turn a surprise With new horizons to pursue Every moment red-letter I'll chase them anywhere There's time to spare Let me share this whole new world with you
A whole new world That's where we'll be A thrilling chase A wondrous place For you and me

| "Gotta Get Back to Hyrule," a rendition of "Gotta Get Back to Hogwarts" from A Very Potter Musical. [my POV]
Underneath the sky, I feel sad, don't know why, I just really need to get out of this place
Ordon Village may be home, but I just don't really know If I ever even liked this place at all
I know I don't have to put up with these Stupid kids and their constant badgering Here in Ordon Village.
Can't take living here much longer This treehouse seems to get smaller and smaller And Epona is bored
I'm sick of fishing and this lame fishing pole Man herding goats can really get old Hey ain't no mystery, there's nothing here for me now.
I gotta get back to Hyrule I gotta back to Castletown I gotta get myself to Hyrule Where everyone knows I'm brave.
Back to Zoras and Gorons and breakable vases With rupees inside, not exactly evasive It's all that I love, and it's all that I need at Hyrule, Hyrule, I think I'm going back
I'll fight some bosses, won't let them pass by Get some heart containers, never gonna die! No way it'll be game over, and it's gonna be totally awesome!
I'll kill some Bokoblins, with the wave of my sword, defeat the beasts, you have my word And I'll do it all with my horse Epona, 'cause together we're totally awesome! And it's gonna be totally awesome!
It's been so long, but I'm going back There's so much there that this place lacks As long as I have my sword, gonna kick some ass And it's gonna be totally awesome
This trip, gonna pwn some beasts Collect some hearts, won't get stung by bees.
And let's not forget, it's where Princess Zelda's at Ordon just doesn't have girls like that
I may be young, but I'm brave to the heart Check out this sword, it's great for a start What I lack in rupees well I make up in hearts So I won't die, and that's totally awesome
This trip I plan to take to the town It would be cool if I'd never drown Epona, my weapons, and milk is all that I got And that's totally awesome Yeah it's so cool and it's totally awesome
I'm sick of Ordon and allthe townspeople too Ilia's crazy and I'd like to see Ooccoo Don't take no triforce For anyone to see how
I gotta get back to Hyrule I gotta get back to duel I gotta get back to Hyrule Where everything is mystic-cooooool
Back to Agitha, to Louise, and of course Telma To Castletown, and especially Zelda It's all that I love, and it's all that I need at Hyrule, Hyrule, I think I'm going back
Who knows when I'll head back home Won't be soon, that much I know Maybe, at last, I'll hook up with Zelda But no, too many youngsters play Nintendo
I'm back to saving this land I've done it several times, so why not again? And here we are, Epona, isn't it grand? Here we go, this is totally awesome!
Let's go and fight some stalfos Ordon's boring and I'm itching to go I think I'm ready for fighting Ganondorf! Ohhhhhhhhh ahhhhhhhhhhhh
Back to Zoras and Gorons and breakable vases With rupees inside, not exactly evasive It's all that I love, and it's all that I need at Hyrule, Hyrule!
Back to Hylians and dungeons, red potions, lantern oil To Hylians! Zoras! Gorons! Gerudos! Back to the place where the story begins, It's Hyrule, Hyrule! Hyrule, Hyrule! Hyrule, Hyrule!

| Avatar opening, from my point of view.
Hylian. Kokiri. Goron. Zora. Sheikah. Gerudo. My mother used to tell me stories about the old days, a time of peace when the Hero of Time kept balance between the Hylians, Kokiris, Gorons, Zoras, Sheikahs, and Gerudos. But that all changed when Ganon attacked. Only the Hero of Time mastered the mystical Ocarina, to travel through time. Only he could stop the ruthless Ganon. But when Hyrule needed him most, he vanished. A hundred years have passed, and the spirits flooded Hyrule to destroy Ganon. Two years ago, my mother died, leaving me in charge of her group of pirates. Some people believe the Hero was never reborn and that the Triforce is broken, but I haven't lost hope. I still believe that somehow the Hero will return to save Hyrule.
Hylian. Kokiri. Goron. Zora. Sheikah. Gerudo. Long ago, the six races lived together in harmony. Then everything changed when Ganon attacked. Only the Hero of Time, holder of the Triforce of courage, could stop him, but when Hyrule needed him most, he vanished. A hundred years passed, and my crew and I discovered the new Hero, an Outset boy named Link. And although he has a dinky sword, he has a lot to learn before he's ready to save anyone. But I believe Link can save Hyrule.

| First half to Cell block Tango, Zelda-fied.
[MIDNA] Growl!
[ZELDA] Six!
[TETRA] Slice!
[MALON] Uh Uh.
[NABOORU] Scimitar!
[RUTO] Sapphire!
[MIDNA] Growl!
[ZELDA] Six!
[TETRA] Slice!
[MALON] Uh Uh.
[NABOORU] Scimitar!
[RUTO] Sapphire!
[MIDNA] Growl!
[ZELDA] Six!
[TETRA] Slice!
[MALON] Uh Uh.
[NABOORU] Scimitar!
[RUTO] Sapphire!
[MIDNA] Growl!
[ZELDA] Six!
[TETRA] Slice!
[MALON] Uh Uh.
[NABOORU] Scimitar!
[RUTO] Sapphire!
[MIDNA] Growl!
[ZELDA] Six!
[TETRA] Slice!
[MALON] Uh Uh.
[NABOORU] Scimitar!
[RUTO] Sapphire!
[ALL] He has it coming, He has it coming, He only has himself to blame. If you'd have been there, If you'd have seen it,
[NABOORU] I betcha you would think the exact same!
[MIDNA] Growl!
[ZELDA] Six!
[TETRA] Slice!
[MALON] Uh Uh.
[NABOORU] Scimitar!
[RUTO] Sapphire!
[MIDNA(Spoken)] You know how some people, are so cocky, that it pisses you off? Like Link. Link liked the sound of his own voice. No, not voice… GROWL. So I’m sent to the Light Realm one day, and I’m real irritated and I’m looking for a hero. And there’s Link, lying in his cell, running around, and yappin’… No, not yappin’, GROWLING. So I said to him, I said, “You growl like that one more time…” And he did. So I took my giant hand, and I slapped him, right on the head.
[ALL] He had it coming, He had it coming, He only had himself to blame.
If you'd have been there, If you'd have heard it, I betcha you would Have done the same!
[ZELDA(Spoken)] I met young Link In my garden about seven years ago and he told me he was special and I sent him off right away, So he could help save the triforce. He'd go to a temple, he'd come out, I'd give him some advice, We'd have a talk. And then I found out, "Special" he told me? Special, my ass. Not only did he have no medallions ...oh, no. He had six medallions to get. One of those idiots, you know. So that night, when he got out, I found where he was hiding, And I slapped him right across the face. You know, some guys just can't handle any kind of pain.
[MIDNA,ZELDA,TETRA,RUTO] Hah! He had it coming, He had it coming, He had some power But he lied. He didn't use it, He just abused it, It's really simple; He had no time!
[NABOORU AND MALON] Growl, six, slash, uh-uh Scimitar, Sapphire!
[TETRA(Spoken)] Now, I'm standing on the bow of my ship, looking out to the seas for land. minding my own business. And out storms my crew member Link, in an angry rage. "You been screwin' us of our pay!," he says. He was crazy. and he kept screamin', "you been screwin' us of our pay!." And then he ran into my fist. He ran into my fist ten times.."
[ALL] If you'd have been there If you'd have seen it I betcha you would have done the same! | |
